Pine Island Beach

Alfred McKethan Pine Island Park is Hernando County’s only public Gulf beach, located west of Weeki Wachee and Spring Hill on Florida’s Nature Coast. The small island community and beach area are commonly called “Pine Island.”

A 3-acre park on the Gulf of America located at 10800 Pine Island Drive (Off County Road 495, West of Weeki Wachee). Includes beach and swimming area, picnic tables, shelters, barbecue grills, observation point, volleyball court, and playground.
